Really, what?  He's a generation-defining player, and athletically one of the 15 greatest to ever suit up.  In terms of passion and motivational power, he's probably top three.

Why are people acting like Ray Lewis should just retire and fade quietly into the mythos of NFL history?  Dude was an NFL juggernaut and figurehead for almost two decades.

I've been hearing a LOT of negativity surrounding Ray Lewis lately, a lot of which is projecting this aura of overratedness toward him.  I don't get it.  He didn't have a great season, but I think his career speaks for itself.

There's no denying what he did on the field, but should they be building a statue for a guy who helped cover up murder.
