Well it's pretty obvious that Schiano wants to build the team with his own guys. I can respect that, but that takes time...which makes it seem kinda odd that we have spent so much money on 30 year old FAs. I can't pretend to understand what the plan is going forward. All I know is Miller and Bennett are good people. Sucks to see them go, especially when money wasn't an issue. I sure hope Schiano knows what he is doing.

If you remember we did try to re-sign him. We entered negotiation with him before the start of free agency , and he scoffed at our offer because he thought he was gonna get paid.





Once again , this is proof that just because a guy panics once he hits free agency and realizes no one wants him , and signs for cheap , doesn't mean he was signing for cheap with the team that just spurned him.

There was no way he was coming back to Tampa.   Guy can be trusted and cant stay healthy.  His absence definitely hurt the Pats down the stretch...no wonder they only committed to a one year deal

Good for him. I'm rooting for his success in New England. Was good to see him have solid second half of the year with them in '12
