@JasonLaCanfora

Why LaGarrette Blount's new deal with the Bucs is the precurssor to a likely trade: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/jason-la-canfora/21840884/bucs-agree-to-deal-with-blount-but-are-trying-to-trade-him

Very interesting. The stars are pointing to Blount playing for another team pretty soon.

Between draft picks, our cap space, and Blount, I'm not sure any team in the NFL can give the Jets a better offer assuming no one is willing to sell the wife, kids, and barn for Revis.

Ya a young team with lots of holes is goin to trade a bunch of draft picks for a position thats loaded in free agency.

Use some common sense

I am fine with trading Blount if we can get a 4th round pick for him. Trading him for a 5th...I think he's more valuable than that. I guess it all depends really on what we can land as a backup to Martin. Bottom line is we have other needs and Blount barely touched the field last year because Martin was so good. My biggest fear though is if Martin goes down for a game or two or more...what then? You don't trade Bount unless you have a better alternative in place.

Whoa...shiver me ****in timbers!

a bunch? This team isn't in rebuild mode. Dom and co. are in must win mode now.

I highly doubt any team is giving up "a bunch" of picks for Revis.

When you asses value to high picks than yes, you do have to give up a bunch of picks to land Revis. I highly doubt they move him without atleast an early 2nd round pick.

Also Blount trade worth is about a 7th roun pick or another developmental player. So I don't think there is a corilation between he and revis
