We need to more very good DBs and a very good pass rush to make it to top 5 in the league in pass defense. Run defense is about gap integrity and who has the bigger balls, thats why we fixed that so quickly. Pass defense is more difficult than that.

Totally agree on the run defense points...  Goldson wil ensure a hard hitting run-stuffing backfield.

Impossible to ague the pass defense comment though.  I am basing my prediction on the signing/drafting of TWO solid DBs, AND an improved pass-rushing defense.  I think Schiano will have this defense looking much different than we are used to, and mixing up the coverages and defensive schemes will play a huge role in affecting my prognosis.

Freeman, 4,500+ 36 TDs, 11 interceptions. He'll get his money. More importantly, he'll get his respect.

Overall defense, just out of the top 10.

We won't reach the SB, but we will help determine who does. Playoffs without a question. This is quickly becoming the best balanced team in franchise history.
