The Buccaneers have publicly stated their confidence in DE Da'Quan Bowers' ability to stay healthy and upgrade Tampa Bay's pass rush. They now must hope they are correct as defensive end Michael Bennett is no longer a Buccaneer after signing a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks.

If Bennett sucks, what does that say about the Bucs Dline?   He was the best Defensive end they had.

Bowers isn't the only DL with injury issues

Says a lot?  He got shown the door here, period.  You have to be as blinded by the light as Beatles and Sparky to not see that.  THere doesn't have to be anger either way, but it's clear that it was the Bucs that didn't want Bennett rather than the other way around.

And I don't see anything negative about a free agent going to a competitive team.  Players are supposed to be interested in winning.

It's pathetic how if someone doesn't somehow take it in the rear for us he's suddenly a jerk.  If he went to a competitive team he's "ring chasing".  If he went to a struggling team, he'd be "only in it for the money".
