Oh, I see.  We are going to actively pursue the remaining free agent corners that we don't want.

Now it all makes sense.

Thanks for the reply GT. The story sounded like a bit of a fantasy. Just like the hypothesis.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Did they bring any corners in yet? No?

I thought there was no way they would skip out on all the corners in FA, but they somehow managed it.

Or mis-managed it.

And of course the "sky is falling" drama.

Should be interesting to see what the roster looks like heading into mini camp.

Cornerbacks:  Gorrer, Tandy and Leonard Johnson.

I wonder if the deal Winfield is considering is the Bucs?

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.

I'd be surprised if it was...

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

It seems like to me that they have shifted their focus on the draft and then sign free agents post draft.  But I am not a big fan of signing free agents post draft but that appears what they want to do.

Agreed. They won't bring in anyone very noteworthy before the draft, IMO.

It is what it is.

He had a decent season last year, but dude is older than dirt.  I guess if we signed him, it would be somebody Ronde could relate too.  Maybe go to AARP meetings together.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

The one thing Mark Dominik has never wanted or been able to do was bring in one or two years stop gap players that can bridge the gap while drafted players develop into starting roles. That is what this teams needs but hasn't acquired.

I think they count Wright as a FA...

I agree.

We tend to throw our rookies right into the fire before they are ready.
