Austin.

Much bigger impact on the team because of his special teams ability and his ability to play RB if Martin were to go down.

Eifert

slot receiver isnt as big of a need as TE. eifert is a very dangerous vertical player and has excellent hands and size to be a weapon in the redzone. offers a great intermediate threat who is also a mismatch for linebackers to cover

No trades. No defensive players available.

If that was the case I'd draft Austin and convert him to cornerback...

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

Austin is a better fit for the offense

There you go drafting for need again...

You must be accountable for your actions!

Yes ...but I'm dealing from the impossible premise that all the 100's of elgible defensive players are off the board by # 13....

What do ya want to do... talk about Revis some more?

Go get Bridgewater.   Do what it takes.

I'm not a big fan of drafting Austin at #13, but I'd take him over Eifert, and I'm guessing that Austin will be drafted higher than Eifert as well. His dynamic play would give our offense another threat, and he can improve our special teams as well. I think we can find a quality TE later in the draft.

Da"Rick Rogers i think he will be the steal at wideout in this draft.

i made my choice and justified it. im not happy with eifert either. we need defense and BPA is a DE. this is all hypothetical anyway

Yup. In this offense...a slot WR seems to be more important than a pass catching TE. We will be fine with Stocker and Crabtree. Austin adds versatility.

Austin.

Hell, brees might not be as accurate as manziel.

Beat me to it. Austin definitely. The approach in this offense seems to be three WR's with a decent TE, nothing special.

Until this staff shows they are going to utilize the TEs in the passing game more, Austin gives the team more value across the board. Otherwise youre spending the #13 pick on a guy whos blocking more often than not from the TE position.

This offense? Clark and Stocker are only open when the defenders make a mistake. They were terrible.  Eifert would improve and change the offense.
