The Pewter Plank ‏@ThePewterPlank 1m
Jax DT RT @RavensInsider: Derek Landri has agreed to a two-year, $3.25 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per a league source.

Not a bad depth pick up, decent run stuffer, brought in to replace Roy Miller... I guess

Contract is: 2 YR/ 3.25 Mill

IMO cheaper version of Roy Miller + will bring a little more agility. (Records a few sacks in a season not 0, Runs faster)

Isn't that essentially what Miller got from Jacksonville? Basically a trade.

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

Roy Miller was two years, 4.5 million, so I guess they're paying less for Landri. Though, they never made an offer to Miller, so who knows what they could have signed him for.

He was drafted by the jags in 07. Played in Carolina a couple seasons and then in Philly last year. How's that a trade?

Ok so he recorded a couple sacks a season? How about he had the same amount of sacks as miller did last year, none. We just signed a backup and paid him back up money. Nothing to see here.

Well, the tweet said "Jax DT", so I assumed it was correct. We'll call it a three way trade where Jacksonville got Miller, the Bucs got Landri and the Eagles got what they deserve, a big pile of nothing.

This kinda shows the importance this team puts on NT. You guys who still think we are going to waste our 1sr round pick on one....stop smoking that crack.

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

A decent UT depth player. Still in search of a starting NT it seems.

I feel like that's like saying if the Bucs had brought back Biggers, they wouldn't have considered drafting a CB in the first round.
