Landri and Selvie are actully quality depth. Now turn your attention to CB  and the Draft.

Landri yes. Selvie no.

That's what a lot of people said about Bennett when the Bucs plucked him of the waiver wire from Seattle. Selvie is a project but the Bucs have done well in developing undrafted talent in the past.
The major difference is the Bucs picked up Bennett when he got cut after his first training camp when he was 23 years old. He was legitimately undeveloped. Selvie turns 27 next week. In all likelihood, he's developed as far as he's going to.

Why continue to re-develop?  Why not just keep the ones you already developed?  This makes zero sense as you will always have projects.  Isn't the idea of a "project" to develop into a non-project keeper?  Our fans are like a battered wife trying to protect the husband.

Dude, I'm not the GM. Just trying to make sense of the moves. The Bucs allowed Bennett to test the market under the belief he would give the Bucs the right of first refusal. Bennett never gave the Bucs the option. I'm more confused with letting Miller go IMO.

Oh well we have Landri and Selvie now, for better or worse. Complaining about doesn't do anyone any good at this point.

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

Lmfao. You've posted so many fake tweets, no one really does believe you anymore.

Still, I think they were funny.

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.

so we sign him to a 2 year deal then release him before the end of training camp and preseason? Wow, is this true?
Last season we didn't get to week 1 without losing a DE. Dumb move.

I'm afraid so.

College free agents signed:
Jheranie Boyd Wide Receiver 6-2 190 North Carolina
Jace Daniels Tackle 6-4 300 Northern Michigan
Chris Denton Wide Receiver 5-11 195 Mount Union
Ka'lial Glaud Linebacker 6-2 230 Rutgers

Free agents signed:
Andre Neblett Defensive Tackle 6-0 310 Temple

The team also announced that it waived defensive tackle Richard Clebert, wide receiver D.J. Monroe and running back Akeem Shavers, while terminating the contracts of guard Roger Allen and defensive end George Selvie.

He had very little chance of making the final 53 anyway.

Until preseason, you stay classy Red Board.

I have no idea why they gave him a 2-year contract, but if they're already releasing him it's because he's beyond horrible. Selvie has 3 sacks in 3 seasons for 3 teams. If one of the Bucs' starters goes down, there are 50 guys off the street who can do what Selvie can do.
