I've mentioned this in other threads, but to concentrate the opinions (I'm sure most of which will be opposing), I see Dion Jordan as very overrated. I'll be honest that the actual tape I've seen on him is limited to youtube, but did the guy ever really affect games that much? I see a guy with limited production as a pass rusher, a guy who played on a team other offenses were always pressured to keep up with, a guy who is mostly a pure speed rusher and who doesn't have much power in  his speed to power game, and a guy with injury concerns.

I haven't seen enough of him, but in my opinion he's easily the most athletic edge rusher... Really have to consider that shoulder injury he had this past year.

Completely disagree that he's the most athletic. Ansah and Hunt are much more freakish athletes, especially when you consider strength, and Mingo is just as athletic and better with his hands.

He is probably a little overrated...probably should be in the mid-20 range...

...but no way is Hunt a more athletic rusher...you want to see someone WILDLY overrated....

Margus Hunt.

Hunt is more athletic. Guy runs the same 40 and puts 225 38 times with some of the longest arms in the group. I don't know the exacts, but my guess his vert is about the same too. He's more athletic for sure.

A lot more to athleticism than running in a straight line and a bench press exercise.

There's a lot more to pass rushing than trying to run around the guy every time.

Hunt might be more athletic, but Dion Jordan is a more proven pass rusher at this point.

Yup..still does not solidify your argument that Hunt is more athletic..

Fact is, if you want to use combine numbers to make your claim..you must consider that Dion Jordan had better/quicker numbers in the: 20 yd dash, 10 yd dash, Broad Jump, 20 yd shuttle, and 3 cone drill.

Hunt will be J.A.G. in the NFL.

Jordan doesn't have great sack numbers because he was often asked to cover TE's and WR's in pass coverage...I'd like to see Hunt do that.

I personally like Ansah and Hunt's motors a hell of a lot better than Jordan. I also think Mingo's frail self will be a bust.

Disagree... Jordan is a freakish athlete who didn't put up gaudy sack numbers because he was asked to drop in coverage a ton.  Really flexible to bend the edge while speed rushing with long arms.  Might be abit short on pass rush moves but they can be taught, his speed and athleticism can't be.  Doesn't matter if Ansah is a little more freakish, they're different players.  Ansah is more of a 43 DE while Jordan is a linebacker 43 OLB but most likely 3-4 OLB.  I don't really have any player comparison for him because nobody is like him.

I know it's not the same position, but Austin is about as overrated as he is.

Which, isn't a lot, but they're both blown out of proportion a little bit.

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.
