He got wrecked all right,  Bucko. All game by Xavier Nixon.

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

SLB is on the field for maybe 40% of the defensive snaps...and you think that is our biggest need? Hmmm...

Only if it's a guy that can also put his hand in the dirt and play DE on 3rd downs.

What rule says a SAM only plays 40%?

The rule that says in today's NFL teams pass A LOT and you need a 3rd Safety or a 3rd CB much more often than you need a 3rd LB.

I posted on the insider's board a while back after re-watching every play of the last game of the year with the Falcons, that we were in nickle or dime 80% of the plays.

I'd pull Mason Foster out on passing downs.

That may or may not be the long term plan, but right now that cannot be a major priority regarding the draft.

Its going to look to some people like a different play every time we use it, but pretty soon theyll be able to recognize it....by watching the official for the first-down signal.   -Vincent T. Lombardi

Ansah will be the best pass rusher within the first couple of years. It's hard to tell who will be the best pass rusher as a rookie without seeing what teams they go to, but I would lean towards Werner because he's pretty polished.

I would have to go with Jarvis Jones as well.  I would love him at 13, he can play SLB on 1st/2nd down...then on passing downs we can pull the NT off and move Clayborn inside and send Jones, Clayborn, McCoy, and Bowers after the QB.

I like that idea a lot.

Every time I see last post JC5100, I have to click on it.... Pure comedy.

Are we saying Jarvis Jones is the best pass rusher in the draft... or best at 13?

We will be Carolina ready when we are Carolina ready.

i could see this with jones or jordan.  schiano has mentioned that 3-3-5 on a number of occasions, right?

None really stand out.  A lot of risk/reward with this class.

Something that was happening to the Bucs too often was the hurry up catching them trying to sub their packages.  An SLB who can stay on the field could mean you don't get stuck like that.

Who is our SLB right now?

We will be Carolina ready when we are Carolina ready.

If you have 5, you don't have 1?

was schiano talking of base?  i thought he wanted the 3-3-5 as a nickel?

although if you played goldson and barron in the box with black deep...i dont think our run defense would suffer.
