13 sackless games last year.... superstar!

Granted a few more sacks wouldve been nice, but you realize the dude gets double teamed constantly, and almost as important as sacks he created an insane amount of disruption in the backfield, moreso on running plays but also often in the passing game. Bottom line is 5 sacks for a DT is solid (though not spectacular), they just dont get that many consistently unless your name is warren sapp but last I cheked he's gone and he aint coming back. Plus mccoys gonna get even better than he is now, especially with a full season under his belt and finaly an offseason without rehab.

The price pick was lauded by everyone when Dom doubled down.  The board was almost unanimously happy with the selection.

Because all we get to see is the game film. Price's problems were pre-exitsing injury, laziness, immaturity and just overall no desire. Dominik's job is to weed guys like him out of the selection process. He has no radar for guys like this: going after Haynesworth, getting Winslow, signing Ward, signing Wright, and Okoye was a problem his short time here.

I think that is why we fired our WC scout

Revisionist history.  I bet there are a lot of folks that wish they had David or Martin from last year or Mike Williams.  Yes, the Saints picked up Graham, but they also drafted Sedrick Ellis and don't forget about Ingram(might have been the year before Graham).  The Pats are widely regarded as one of the best drafting teams but maybe we should go back and look at their drafts, they have plenty of busts.  However, they are smart and usually hoard picks.    I just think Dom is a very good GM who got us out of cap hell, turned over the roster and has brought in some great players.  Every GM makes mistakes, Dom has made some, but seems to be learning.  This is hopefully the year it pays off and we get deep in the playoffs.

Whether it's fair or not he has to be compared to Suh and Atkins. He was drafted #3 overall and has been paid over $45M.

Sacks per game
Suh- .61
Atkins- .48
McCoy- .26
