Why is Ronde Barber Scott Reynolds' favorite Buccaneer of all-time? What did the Bucs see in Barber when they drafted him in 1997? What does Tampa Bay like about CB Johnthan Banks and DE Steven Means? Get the answers and more insight in this edition of SR's Fab 5.

Brooks absence at both events has me curious.  Hope it's not bitterness.

SR - do you know if banks is a guy that would play the slot in nickel, or is he primarily an outside guy?

    Excellent article, sir!
I remember reading how astonished one of the players or coaches was at the rookie mini-camp with how much Glennon already knew about the QB position at the NFL level. With his strong arm, plus coming out of the same system that Russell Wilson did, as well as having the same coach as both Wilson AND Matt Ryan should certainly jump-start Glennon's NFL career. Hopefully BOTH Freeman and Glennon work together well, and learn from and motivate each other as Bucs...

Especially when he said he had just THREE words.. "congratulations, its been an honor"  :P Then proceeded to say how awesome it was that Barber was beating guys THREE TIMES his size to get sacks..  I would love to see that 550lb guy he was beating. :)

sr is the one who brought it up so my curiosity isn't coming out if left field.  What obligations would trump these 2 events?

Neither Sapp nor Barber were at Brooks' retirement party. I'm sure they all understand when other obligations come up.

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

well I doubt he would hold a grudge against Barber or Sapp.  He would have no reason to.  The Buc organization on the other hand maybe.

Brooks would still be playing now if it was up to him..

I am a big fan of his... but his time was up.

Jace Daniels does remind me of Penn when he was a rook. Dude was killing people in that vid! Should be one to watch in camp. I could be wrong but I suspect Means is the next Larry Brackins. Overdrafted.

Two pretty decent UDFA's...  is it just me or does it seem like we are finding more or better talent coming from college?

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.
