Chronic, while I understand what youre saying, I believe, one also has to take into consideration that a player could get cut or injured at any moment, so you cant blame them for wanting to get as much money out of their careers while they can, and as soon as possible. Couple that with the fact the MW19 has CLEARLY outplayed his rookie deal, and I have no issues with him wantin and getting an extension. Would I give him 8 million, probly not, but Id definitely put him in the 6-7 range. Hes one of the best #2s in the league, and that cant be said enough. IMO

I've been wanting to see what cruz would get for awhile since I thought he could ask for more than MW and help establish the market for a quality #2 receiver.  I hope we can sign MW for less than the Cruz deal... to me it looks fair in the 5-7 range.
