I trust Brees WAAAAY more than i do Manning. Anyone that watched him last year knows that arm is not the same.

Quote
Of the group, it's Freeman who intrigues me most. He caught fire last season, before falling to pieces. As it stands, he's a candidate to lose his job in 2013.

I'm wondering how come so many here are having difficulty coming to grips with that?

Funny, I got all kinds of grief when I mentioned that Manning doesn't look the same.  As for Josh, well, people here really struggle to look at him objectively.

"Really struggle" might just be the understatement of the year.

Until preseason, you stay classy Red Board.

Just looking for consistency, or something like that, right? Like these guys!

Even with Mannings diminished arm stregth, He is still elite. allthough not really sure he has ever been clutch come playoff time. Even when he did win a SB, His defense carried them in playoffs

How can I trust you?

 25. Josh Freeman
 26. Christian Ponder
 27. Jake Locker
 28. Nick Foles
 29. Kevin Kolb

No way is Freeman better than Ponder or Locker.

I would ask for some of what you're smoking, but I'm not into meth.

and he's never played well in the cold which is why i could not trust him come playoff time. Stated so before the season started and watched it come to fruition.

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

Slow your troll there a bit JC, I don't think Freeman is inconsistent at all and have stated so many times.  And your comparison is a joke even if I did.

Lol, criticism is objectivity but praise is not    ::)

Criticism is "objective"  . . .  .on a website where people question whether the guy is a homosexual and a drug addict, where Freeman is sometimes called the worst QB on the planet ... despite a record year . .

C'mon man . . .  its almost silly to claim that criticism is "objective" on a website where some have claimed that Free just dropped all the weight lat year because . .  he liked soccer. .

Freeman is deserving of both criticism and praise but NEITHER are often dispensed here objectively

Just check out the site or maybe like them on Facebook . .  or Share the site on Facebook, re-tweet one of their tweets.  Not everyone can give money to support this great cause, but its easy to give 10 seconds of your time to help spread the word about The Children\'s Cancer Center

definitely agree. . . . but I am not sure this is a place for claiming the high ground based on "objectivity" . . . nothing wrong with that, I just think its funny because criticism is often portrayed as "honest" or "objective" when the critical  arguments one reads here are often (not always) just as over the top as the "homerism"

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall him saying,  he still had the arm strength.  I thought he said something about his feel for the ball, as in the grip, was different. But it was slowly returning.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"
