I think he's already crossed off, but he shouldn't be.Despite his age, the guy is a very good player and an improvement over Bowers currently. I know people say it's for a one year lease, but he could last a couple more, and the benifits of allowing Bowers or him being moved along the line would pay off greatly. Not only that, but you have yet another name to fill the stands, and another vet to fill the void in a position on the team DL/DE group that has little leadership (besides McCoy).I like Bowers and wanted him in Tampa. Heck, I was happy as a clam that they we're able to draft him. However, he's shown inconsitancy in staying healthy and has a looming punishment because of the stupid gun at airport issue. I would MUcH rather have Abraham showing bowers the ropes for this season, allow Bowers those resting downs for now, and maybe even allow him to play in place of Clayborn in the same situation.It would create more depth, and bring in a good vet player. I think it's a good deal (depending on cost).
