If healthy Revis is #1.
revis does not have the impact on his team winning like Ryan or Brees does.

Yea I know but **CENSORED** Brees and Ryan.

Does anyone honestly believe that an elite CB has anywhere the same impact as an elite QB?

I would take any elite QB over our guy PLUS Revis.  It is funny to read this board lately.  You'd think we were defending SB champs not a team that hasn't sniffed the playoffs in six years.

You could make an argument Gerald belongs on the list.

I'd like to see that argument.

Can I pick and choose which games I make my argument from?

You won't have many to choose from, he's only had a sack in 6 games....

in his career.

You've never seemed to have a problem using a small sample size before.

And only a simpleton uses sacks to judge the effectiveness of a interior defensive lineman.

Oh yea, we''ve really gotten our #3 overall pick and $45M worth of  "disruptiveness" .

If he plays well this season i think you will see him move up on the list. I think he has to show consistency plus the ability to stay healthy

Reality will b**ch slap most of the homers after season starts. Then we will get multiple " Fire Schiano" threads.

This list is more about the best players from each team and not overall.

I missed where it said which 13 players have the most impact, I thought it was the top 13 players. In that sense ask yourself if a 100% healthy Revis is a better CB than Ryan or Brees are QBs. So while QB is certainly the more important position and I would pick Brees over Revis, it does not mean that Brees is a better, more talented football player. All things being equal, Revis spends his Sundays being better than QBs and recievers, and is probably the best "football" player in the NFCS.

Always fun to read "100% healthy" about a player with a reconstructed knee.

We will be Carolina ready when we are Carolina ready.

After that arsewhippin', I'd probably look to change the debate too.

Hasn't sniffed the playoffs
that's gotta be the least intelligent line I read on these boards
