Trindon Holliday is likely the fastest guy in the NFL right now and if Demps plays that are virtual equals.

I'm pretty sure Demps is fast than Holliday, at least he was.  Chris Johnson does have to be in the discussion of current players.

Jacoby Ford can fly.  Haven't seen a mention.

We will be Carolina ready when we are Carolina ready.

Depends if you trust stopwatch timing.  The fastest guy using electronic timing is Chris Johnson.     4.24

Trindin Holiday ran 4.29

Before 2000, when they started electronic timing, a lot of guys ran in the teens.

Bo               4.12
Green         4.15
Gallaway    4.18
Deion         4.21

Ford is legit but not as fast as Holliday or Demps. Demps and Holliday are virtual equals over 100m.

Those 40yd times are not trustworthy in the least.

The NFL 40yd "electronic" timing is flawed as well. The pro day is complete nonsense.

Agree on the Pro Day nonsense.  Guys are slower than hell at the combine, then they miraculously turn into Bo Jackson at their pro days.

Bo was a beast, an absolute freaky beast in two sports. We were robbed due to his untilmely injury.
playing that stupid Family Feud game on my phone and got the question who was the greatest athlete of all time.  I typed in Bo Jackson and got a zero.  The general public is too dumb for me to do well in that game.

Morg...

Renaldo Nehemiah [sp?] was a great hurdler, but not a great NFL player.  He never really panned out for the Niners.  He was one of the very few mistakes Bill Walsh ever made.  But faster than hell, no denying that.
