This guy is making all the wrong moves and appears guilty as all hell. If the guy is innocent, why smash his cell phone? Why smash his surveillance system? Why have the whole house scrubbed down before police can search it? You would think if anything, such things would show your innocence.
There is a dramatic difference between "looking su**CENSORED**ious" and being tied to a murder with physical evidence.  While his actions are clearly the ones of a guilty party, if he managed to destroy evidence that could incriminate him, then he didn't hurt himself at all.  Not saying I condone it, or anything else he did or may have done, but it's not "stupid" as others have said.  If you shot and killed someone and had a chance to toss the murder weapon off a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean - even if you were seen doing it --  do you think you wouldn't have made it harder to convict you?
Exactly. Didn't think it was that difficult to figure out!!
it looks more like he tossed the murder weapon into a small pond rather than the middle of the ocean.

You have to be tragically stupid (some might say crazy too) to kill somebody or even to be involved with killing somebody, other than in self defense.

His actions with the cell phone and the video surveillance are not smart nor stupid  . . .  they are DESPERATE.  Smashing a cell phone, cleaning your home and smashing a video surveillance player are desperate and often VERY INEFFECTIVE steps to cover a crime, especially where there are multiple potential perps/conspirators because someone will always turn, someone has something to gain by turning.

The stupidity lies in getting involved . .  the rest is just deperate nonsense

he should have just burned his house down.  wouldnt have had to pay the cleaning service bill and would have also gotten a big insurance check.  win/win.

Cleaning the home, when the shooting happened a mile away, adds up to nothing...IMO

Here's are a few example that would explain things:

There was a fight in the home (captured on video, maybe blood) before the murder and/or someone shot the guy in the back of the head in the home, they then took him out to a field and shot him up many times to make it look like a robbery or a drug crime.

That would explain the video surveillance and the cleaning.  The cell phone could have been destroyed because of text messages or because someone communicated with him from where the body was dumped.

It could even be the house was cleaned because they didnt want blood dripping off them onto the ground etc. when they returned

All speculation . .  but the cleaning is singificant because it was done, especially if it was not routine

If Hernandez did it or was involved, one of the other guys will turn state's evidence and that will immedaately create a witness and a BUNCH of circumstantial evidence linking him to the crime, certainly enough for a grand jury maybe a straight out indictement. If they recover any of the destroyed or discarded physical evidence . .  . goodbye.

all speculation now but .  .

“He was killed where they found the body,” said one law enforcement official. “He was shot multiple times.”

I saw that too, but that doesnt mean there wasnt a fight or that they didnt clean it because of fear of blood etc. The key is when and why did it occur, if the cleaner comes every week at that time, no big deal. If it was a unique event, its relevant

The fact that he was one of the last people seen with him says something. Anything could've happened at the house and thats why the footage was destroyed. Also didn't the police saw the body was dumped there and was killed elsewhere, the other day? I don't believe anything right now because media and law enforcement always spread bull**CENSORED** at this point.

Even if he didn't pull the trigger he is going to be charged as an accessory after the fact.  Dude is toast.
