He didn't bring it up, Cook did, and then implied he was a stupid troll. Extremely unprofessional.

And for the record Von.. or Java's ghost... Morgan and I throw jabs back and forth. Friendly sparring. He is one of the few on here who is a fan of my radio work. We are cool.

Well now we know why even though Morgan is 10 times as pathetic a troll as Java (and not remotely as smooth) he is still here polluting the boards while others are banned.

Maybe you can talk the PR.com folks to banning all the people you don't agree with at your next G2G.

Thanks MC, I've always liked your sense of humor. Some people forget that Buc football/NFL football is an entertainment business - a distraction from our everyday lives.

The Bucs spent a ton of money in free agency in 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2009, and the main reason they didn't spend in 2005 and 2006 was because of cap problems from spending so much money.

And GruAllen spent it on garbage. No wonder the Glazers changed the combo to the safe.

No need for that..... you provide a great many of us with comic relief. The board punching bag, so to speak.

G2Gs don't have the desire nor the influence to get a poster banned.  Bad posters take care of that themselves.

Between 2003 and 2005, Glazer gradually bought out the shareholders in the English Premier League soccer team Manchester United in a deal that valued the club at around $1.47 billion. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malcolm_Glazer

I'm not sure what others are seeing. The worn out spoon-fed cliches coming from the front office should have been telling enough.  Another year of proper investment and I would say we have a pattern.  It has been a long time coming. Walks away putting the blinders back on.

Would prefer that the team would avoid peaks and troughs in player salaries and keep a steady state at around league average.

Glazers jacked up ticket prices and quit spending after the Superbowl.

Don't blame the fans.

If Malio's starts serving up fast food style meals and raise the prices the same thing would happen to them. They would stop selling out as well.

It's very simple. If you don't deliver a quality product you had better be cheap. Very simple economics. Blaming the fans is ridiculous. History proves that they can do very well in this market if they deliver the quality goods. They need another Dungy type coach to save their asses from this hell again. Hopefully that history will repeat itself and they will hire a great coach again.

First and foremost we need a talent evaluator. Dominik isn't that guy and judging by our drafting Schiano is sure as hell not that guy either.

That's total payroll, not money spent on free agents.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

They spent the least amount of money on players from 2004-2011.  What would anyone think?

That they didn't have players worth spending money on!!
They didn't have free agency in 2004-2011?  That is where the bucs current quality is coming from at this point for most part.
The Bucs spent a ton of money in free agency in 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2009, and the main reason they didn't spend in 2005 and 2006 was because of cap problems from spending so much money. The 2010 class was epically bad because of the lockout and so many players who would have normally been unrestricted free agents becoming restricted free agents stuck with their teams. 2011 was the only season the Bucs had money to spend, players to spend it on, and chose to sit out.

The Buccaneers spent their FA money on core players like Quincy Black, Davin Joseph, and Jeremy Trueblood in 2011.  Lotta bang for you buck in that group.
