I can understand why but I think they have boxed themselves into a bit of a corner. The "West" will want fresh elections, and guess who won the last one?

Overthrowing an elected leader by force is not democracy.

Egyptian "Democracy" Going Down?

Obama's fault. Rush Limbaugh said so.

It's George Bushes fault. Morgan said so.

Or should that be Foxnews?

Fox News celebrates when anything bad happens to the United States that it can somehow blame on Democrats.

No, it isn't democracy - but if they were having a vote at the moment I don't believe Morsi would be getting a lot of votes...

Point being that if you want to live in a democracy with a legal government, you need to make changes to said government in a legal manner to legitimise it.

This will not end well for them. US is going to have to act on the support they give them and either end it or pull all the money they give for military support. Not to mention the military is shutting down Muslim Brotherhood networks, which is only going to piss them off further.

If the search feature didn't blow balls, this would be a good time to bump some "Arab Spring" threads.

Fox News celebrates when anything bad happens to the United States that it can somehow blame on Democrats.

And MSNBC does the same against Republicans. Both are political party networks, certainly not news networks.

And MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, Bloomberg, NY Times, LA Times, HuffPo, Media Matters, Washington Post, Time, Newsweek, the BBC, PBS, NPR every major print newspaper, Hollywood movies, network and cable television shows, College professors, grade school and high school teachers, all do the same against Republicans.

You missed a few

Overthrowing an elected leader by force is not democracy.

Neither is disbanding the high court, declaring yourself immune to everything, granting yourself dictoral type powers and making political views opposite of your illegal.

+1. This isn't exactly just a simple case of buyer's remorse here.
