The one position that isn't a threat to anybody i think is tight end. We just don't have much there but it doesnt seem like our offense puts much value in it.

My bold statement.... Crabtree will surprise!!

Packers fans were upset to see him go. Hope he can be our go to guy at TE. Big target. Could get a lot of looks from Freeman.

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

niether do i. his ceiling seems extremely limited lacks ideal speed for an NFL tight end

Noble, bynam seem like better players to keep on the bench behind Crabtree. im not solt hat Stocker is a lock

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see him sent packing. Perhaps he's this season's surprise cut.

I wonder if they'll throw out split TE sets once in a blue moon? If they keep stocker, that might be what they're thinking.

Otherwise, idk why they would. Crabtree is about the same level of talent as Stocker, maybe a bit better according to his stats.

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.

This will be the year that he finally puts together a true complete season.....

Wait...he's never put together a complete season? I thought he held franchise records...weird.

Until preseason, you stay classy Red Board.

Most teams typically have a TE who is good at blocking and catches passes occasionally. No reason to cut our best blocking TE cause he has never looked like Jimmy Graham.

He's not really that good at blocking chace.

I mean, he is better than anything else we have besides crabtree in that regard, but it's not like he isn't expendable.

Actually, he is a pretty good run blocker, and is above average at pass blocking. I'm afraid you are letting his lack of offensive receiving production affect your opinion of his overall game.

My bold prediction is that Chris Owusu will be the surprise player from the offense that we're introduced to.

Stocker?  That would be a shocker, not because he is any great shakes or anything, but the team is thin at his position.  And if they gave up on him, they could posibly get a late round pick for him.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

LMAO....i'm not star-struck and don't do the autograph thing. And if i did, it surely wouldn't be his.

I think his contributions are below average and he was a waste of the two 4s we surrendered to obtain him. He's had ample time to prove his worth and in my eyes, he's failed. Time to turn the page.
