The Scouts could also be wrong about Ryan. Outside of getting his team to the playoffs what has he been able to do there?

Oh I don't know....in his five year career he has thrown for 19,000 yards and 127 TDs. He has a passer rating over 90 and a completion % over 60. He has stayed healthy and on the field. He has been a leader and commanded the respect of his teammates. He's 56 and 22. He and coach Smith have been the epitome of consistency since day one. That's kinda something.

I agree thats not "bad" but he hasnt won anything in the playoffs. Hes had pretty solid teams around him. Every year since 09 they have been SB contenders. At what point do you point do you point fingers at him and say he cant win in the postseason?

He took his lumps early in his career, but in the two playoff games last season he went 54-77, 70.1%, 646 yards, 6 TD, 3 INT, 1 sack, 105.2 QBR. He's the real deal.

The Scouts could also be wrong about Ryan. Outside of getting his team to the playoffs what has he been able to do there? They have been a contending team for a few years now and if Ryan is supposed to be a top 5 pick, shouldnt he be able to win these playoff games with the solid teams he has played on? We can say their pass D hasnt been all that great but they have been able to generate pass rush. Have been able to run the ball effectively and have had really good WRs on their team. But why arent they winning in the postseason? Whats the reason?

It almost sounds as if you are trying to pin all of the Falcons issues on Matt Ryan!. ???
Couldn't be that anyone around here would do that. blue.

It's a team game and you have a 1 in 12 chance of winning it all after you qualify for the post season. Each position needs to be evaluated every year and part of the evaluation should be looking at your other QB'S. I'm sure that the Falcons are content that Matt Ryan gives them a far greater chance to win than any other options.

Same with my evaluation of Freeman. He is the best option by far for the Buccaneers. Just like Romo is and Stafford is for those teams. THAT'S the hidden knowledge that you can't see. Hardly anyone around here gets it.

Tont Romo is not = to Matt Ryan. Ryan is not an elite QB, but he is very good and very consistent.

Romo is very good sometimes, but he is a choke artist and he is about as consistent than Freeman. Plus, he has had arguably more talent on his squad than anyone over the years and he hasn't been able to do much of anything. The Cowboys have been an over hyped 8-8 team for his entire tenor.

Wanna talk stats?  Look at Romos numbers. Beast.

He is a playoff loser.

As is Matt Ryan, and Ryan has better offensive talent (healthy) than Romo did.

Every QB but Joe Flacco lost in the playoffs.

Then why even compare Romo and Ryan?  Way to try and deflect.

They are playoff losers with mega talent around them. Fact. And if Flaccid Flacco loses, he gets the same rep. You are what you are.

I didn't compare anyone to anyone. In the last playoff game Ryan lost, he faced the #3 total defense, completed 71.4% of his passes for 396 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT, took 1 sack, and had a QBR of 114.8. If you think he deserves blame for that loss, I don't know what to tell you.
