I love seeing Thomas Morstead and Matt Bosher when they come onto the field.
It brings my heart joy when I see those guys.

1) Lawrence Taylor.  Having watched the man, I can say I have never seen anyone come close to doing what he did.

2) Dan Marino.  Having watched the man, I can say I have never seen anyone throw like he did.  (Elway had a much stronger arm, but I liked Marino's release and unreal accuracy)

You?

Former: Steve Young & Barry Sanders

Present: Aaron Rodgers & Adrian Peterson

This was harder than it seemed.  I choose just one player that stood out to me on almost every game.

Past-  Marshall Faulk complete RB!

Current-AP-Man amongst boys.

Always liked Brett Farve.

Ill co-sign that and throw in Primetime and the Playmaker now.

Currently its definitely Adrian Peterson.

Brett Favre before I found out he was a jerk...

After that, its been various college players.

Goldson was honestly up there before, so needless to say I'm thrilled he's a Buc. For me now, I'd say Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. Both the guys are just cold blooded killers at the QB position and both play with so much swagger and confidence. Last year when Brady shouted at the punt team to get off the field on fourth down so he could go for it against the Niners, was so inanely bad ass.

Yes, I know my list is more the the original thread stated...But for past players a lot harder to limit it. And for current defense anyone of the three.

Past offense: Walter Payton / Dan Fouts / Steve Largent / Jonathan Ogden

Current offense:Aaron Rodgers & Adrian Peterson

Past defense: Deacon Jones / Rod Woodson / Ray Lewis / Warren Sapp /  Lawrence Taylor

Current defense: JJ Watt / Clay Mathews /  Von Miller

In Football, RESPECT is never given freely by your opponent. It must be TAKEN from them...VIOLENTLY

Great players cost a lot of money but help win games. High-priced players - a byproduct of poorly run front offices with bad scouting departments - only cost a lot of money.
