I think this city deserves their money back for Raymond James

I Agree.   The day they fired Jon Gruden, everyone in Tampa should have gotten a tax refund for Raymond James Stadium taxes.

I'll gladly pay another half point on sales tax to help fund it. Would go to tons more games if it were in channelside or fairgrounds area.

Certainly attendance would improve if the stadium was in Tampa but I doubt many taxpayers agree with the thought of them being gouged again for a private business.

Kick out the Yankees and dedicate the area to the Rays would be the first priority to get the ball rolling. Either modify or put a new structure on Dale Mabry which would still be the best location for traffic flow from all areas. jmo
