"Can for Man"

Uhh, your kidding right?

It's Teddy B or possible Tajh B in the draft. Otherwise it's Glennon.

I wouldn't take Johnny Manziel in the 5th round.

I want Tajh ....then we can run some option read also . Dougie with an option read threat would be nasty to try and stop.

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

Option? Hell no, just sit in the pocket and throw darts on time to our WR and let em run with it.

In todays league if you dont have the option read element you are losing out on a huge weapon. Forces defenses to stay honest and not crash the middle. Poor Dougie could use some space inside.

Being able to leave the pocket to buy time and pick up a first down is important. I do not want our franchise guy running the option. Let Cam Newton do that.
**CENSORED** the option. That sh!t is stupid. All it does is put unnecessary hits on your QB.

I would however love to have a QB like Rodgers or Luck that can move around the pocket and throw dimes.....and take off for a 1st down when needed. Enter Bridgewater.

Agreed, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Rodgers have been just this side of unstoppable for 15 years. That is what the Bucs need. To much risk for injury.

My starting QB wish list for next year looks like this.
1. Teddy Bridge
2. Tajh Boyd
3. Mike Glennon

The QB gets hit just as hard standing in the pocket ....that's a stupid myth .

You can run the read option in an intelligent way that utilizes it at strategic points in the game , and doesn't require the QB to have 30 carries a game. Just the threat of it also keeps the defense honest and gives them headaches.

Look at the 49ers , for instance.

Glennon would top my list since we've already paid the price for him...but I don't see a lot to make me willing to pass up a Bridgewater or Boyd for him.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

When you run the option, you give defenders a free pass to blast your QB. Even if he hands it off the RB....defenders are allowed to blast the QB. It's a dumb fad and won't last at this level. QBs are too important and make too much $$$.

Listed 196 which makes him very breakable. I think there is a figure about NFL QB's need to be 215 or more or they just cant take the abuse.

You dont have a free pass to blast ANYONE jdouble. Watch any games lately ? Watch the Bucs game last week ? LOL

...and it is certainly not a fad. Its a play that is extremely hard to defend.

Gimmick...AND a fade...IMO. It is for teams who cannot line up and beat you or have a QB they do not entirely trust.
