Defensive guy. I would prefer a great offensive mind.

+1

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.

I wanted Rex Ryan, but I doubt the Jets fire him now. Rob Ryan kind of reminds me of Rex.

Twins tend to be that way.

LOL, thanks. :)

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

Hire Greg Roman, draft Manziel, BOOM Super Bowl. #thatisall

Sounds like a much better plan than the previous one.

Although, didn't those two not like each other?

If we are hiring a 3-4 guy, it better be Vic Fangio.

Is that coaching or personnel!?

Rob has less to work with. Saints defense has done a 180

Does that personnel play better because of better coaching? They surely didn't play to this level before Fangio arrived.

Rob Ryan has done a good job, but was rather unimpressive in Oakland, Cleveland, and Dallas.

Until preseason, you stay classy Red Board.

He got "scapegoated" in Dallas

Partick Willis and Bowman were studs before Fangio got their. They also had a developing 3 down

That defense as a whole did not start playing to this level until Fangio got there. Fact.
Rob Ryan was mediocre in Dallas, which is why he was replaced. Fact.

I honestly think that Rob Ryan's success this year is more due to Sean Payton coming back and having his offense control the game than anything that Ryan has actually done. As has pointed out, he was pretty unimpressive in his other stops and I'm hoping that the Glazers won't hire a guy simply based upon 5 games of success this year.

No, not in favor of Ryan. Considering that it's likely we will be drafting a new quarterback next season, we need a offensive minded coach that has a good relationship with a good defensive coordinator. We have some talent on the defensive side of the ball, what we need is someone that can get the offense going. What we need is someone like the next Jim Harbaugh or Sean Payton.

I like Rob, not so much Rex.  He talks too much.

Anybody have Mike Holmgren's number? Certainly worth a phone call.

I'd probably give Josh McDaniels a second chance before I gave Rob Ryan a HC job.
