If Russell is there and we pick him, what QB on our roster would you want to trade?  I would probally want to trade Simms so then our final QB roster would be Garcia, Russell, Gradkowski.  By the way, would Russell even be a good fit for our offense.
If you take a QB top 5, the rest of your QBs better not matter. When you have The Man at QB, your backups become the Jim Sorgi types.

He just makes me so nervous....I''d have to pass on him. I'm pretty sure that someone would be itching to trade up if he fell to 4 though, which would ideal for us.

I would of said no before watching this video.

It's not just the arm strength or the size (although they help) it's the quick and smooth release, and the ability to move in the pocket to open up things downfield that are appealing here. Russell is fourth on my board behind Quinn, Johnson, and Thomas, but if they are all gone I say take Russell over a defensive player who will not be that much better than their counterparts drafted at the top of round 2.

I'm not as high on Russell as Quinn but dear sweet zombie jesus you take the man at #4 for sure. He's got some risk on him, more than Quinn, but if the draft goes CJ, Quinn, Thomas then you have to take the guy.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

Take him n trade his rights to someone?

Not a bad idea if he falls to us.  If he does, we can see how much we are able to get for him.

No way.  I say either find a trading partner (Miami or Minnesota most likely) or pick Gaines Adams.

No, but it may be worth entertaining trade offers from the Vikings or Dolphins if they get a little excited.
