Fans hated Cobb, heck he stabbed a fan. Everything's peaches and cream now.

Not the same, RJ, not the same. you cannot justify it. And of course you don't see how you act like you are superior over others. You don't read all your replies & you wouldn't think you acted that way anyway.

Go Bonds! Hit a 1000 home runs. I can give a spit. I will never boo this guy, because he still had to hit a round ball, with a round bat, squarely, which is the hardest thing to do in any professional sport in the world. It's only because the mainstream media hates this guy everyone one else does too. If he played for the Yankees (Giambi) or the Red Sox, it would be so over looked by the national media. Fans who hate him do so because ESPN and like Pundits said to. Bunch of followers.
Barry didn't roid out like Canseco did. There's a huge difference in the two. Barry probably used enhancers designed for human use, Canseco used straight up horse steroids.

That is the point, he didn't need to do it as he was a great baseball player, but he did it anyway!

That is the point, he aged, was pissed no one payed much attention to him during the McGwire and Sosa days. So he did the same things those two players did and like Ether said they weren't against the rules then. Only because the government got involved did baseball give a damn.
Big Mac and Bonds are the best home run hitters ever. No matter how they did it. They did it. They both smashed the records and deserve thier due. Both are sure HOF's in my book. And both would be if the government didn't make this an issue.
Big Mac and Sosa saved baseball and baseball, the writers, and much of thier fans have now turned thier back to them. It's a shame.
