LOL - He's a good stop-gap, and DTG you  may have proven that he is good in mop-up - spot duty back. I still don't think you'd see consistent 100yd performances from Pitt this year as the feature back. He's ok in certain situations, requiring certain match-ups to succeed.

Again - Gruden wants another back for some reason...

I should have said 100 yards RUSHING.

Find that one.

The last one? 127 yards rushing in 2005 vs MIA.

5th round pick, but I think the Sims trade was for a conditional pick.

Ok DTG, glad that I am not the only on reporting this also watch out for everyone who wants a link

That sucks, considering the Raiders spent a conditional 5th on Gerard Warren who already has 3 sacks as a backup...  Hopefully Sims develops into an impact player

I think the last time Pittman had a 100 yard game was actually in the Superbowl. As a matter, I think that might have been his best game ever as a feature back...

Pittman regular season 100 yard games as a Buc:

2006:
107 vs CLE
109 vs SEA

2005:
126 vs DET
138 vs MIA
99 vs NO

2004:
164 vs CHI
158 vs KC
106 vs SF
163 vs CAR
141 vs NO

2003:
164 vs ATL
141 vs IND
117 vs DAL
103 vs NO
105 vs ATL

2002:
148 vs CLE
103 vs DET
118 vs CHI
I should have said 100 yards RUSHING.

Find that one.

Sims was for a 7th round pick. Not sure how they reconciled that with the Plummer conditional pick, but the latter must be a 2009 pick, because it is conditional on whether he reports to camp NEXT year AFTER the 2008  draft. Sims was definitely a 7th rounder though, I remember that. So we could also trade our 6th rounder.

Moore would be a good spare part to plug in. Day 1 is simply not the price for that sort of 3rd wheel in a 3 wheel system but a day 2 pick gets a lot more interesting.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
If you think Manziel is the best QB in this draft I can safely assume you are an idiot and will treat you as such.

I don't want Moore, if that means they won't go after Michael Turner in the offseason. We need a feature back with home run ability. I would hate to go into next season with Moore, Pittman and Graham as our backs. Now, I wouldn't mind at all going into next season with Turner, Moore as the third down back and Graham!

Would still love to look at a guy like Jason Snelling from the Falcon's practice squad.  He can be a power runner or bruising FB and is an outstanding receiver out of the backfield

No matter what we do this year, the Bucs will add a quality RB next year.

Michael Turner is not a feature back.

Maybe I'm crazy but I think Moore could compete with a healthy Cadillac, too.

I disagree.

Turner has a better shot as a feature back than Mewelde Moore.

Turner has a habit of putting the ball on the ground and he just does not seem overly explosive to me.

Heard we offered a 6th rounder.
