Daniels had a great game. but if you look at Daniels passing numbers compared to Tebows... they are damn close. Daniels has 800 more yards and 4 more passing tds.... but Tebows rushing numbers slaughter! Daniels numbers. And with setting a record that has never been set.... I just dont see how you can pass Tebow for Heisman.

that said... the idiots that vote will screw it up again.

Who do you have?

Dixon is hurt tonight, looks like OR may lose. He was my frontrunner but now I think he has to be out.

Is Tebow the winner?

IMO Tebow is certainly the best player.

Thoughts?

Depends on how McFadden does against LSU, and Tebow against FSU.

Right now, I like Tebow, but if McFadden puts up a beast of a game against LSU, then he deserves to get the trophy.

Dolorus Jason on a ban bet with me over the BCS Championship: \"You have your bet. I ain\'t scurred.\"- 12/8 \"Youre being banned from your own stupidity. Enjoy.\"-12/8 \"Prepare for your ban .\" -12/9 \"Miyagi gonna be banned.\"-12/9 \"Best bet I ever made ...\"-12/9 \"Miyagi mad , gettin banned.\"-12/9\"You mIght need a break from the board. Our bet should help you do just that.\"-12/10 11:38 AM

Mcfadden's only a junior I think, but he'll probably come out.  It's definitely tight.  Is Grothe still in the running? ;D

hahahaha that amused me =)

but yeah i have to say its a very close toss up between mcfadden and tebow. tebows got fau in which he will definitely throw heisman winning numbers but look at the competition...and as for fsu, if he does well, i think its definitely a mystery. if mcfaddens runs well against lsu's defense...he prob deserves it. isnt he entering the draft this year? i wouldnt mind seeing the bucs draft him! tebow can always win it next year too

Tebow is involved in every snap and his overall production is sick.

Tebow's numbers kill everybody else's.  He even has SEVEN more rushing TD's than McFadden.  Don't get me wrong, McFadden is a GREAT player....maybe even better than Adrian Peterson.

Tebow is the best QB in the country.

McFadden is the best RB in the country.

It depends on who the voters think does more for their team.

i think if florida can get into the top 10....tebow has it. =/

but like biggs said....depends on who the voters feel is the bigger contributor. and that said, i gotta go with tebow.

just wondering if his age will come into play...

I think age does play a part in some voters' decisions.  I'm not sure Tebow is the best QB in the country.  Brian Brohm may ahve something to say about that and even Dixon for that matter

Age probably does play a part...although it shouldn't.

Brohm is a very good QB...but he hasn't been in the Heisman race for quite a while.

Dixon is done for the Heisman.  Getting hurt last night and his team losing killed his chances unfortunately.

The other QB's who might get in the race, if their teams keep winning, is Kansas' Todd Reesing and Missouri's Chase Daniel.

No I wasn't saying those guys were in the race, just saying that I don't think Tebow is the best "QB" in the country.

Shouldn't the best be in the race?  I agree that Brohm is probably the best pocket passer and possibly best pro prospect this year...but Tebow has been the best QB in college football this year.
