I agree, Olaf.

They call WAAAYYYY too many called-runs for Tebow, instead of calling pass plays and letting the run happen.

Holy crap.  We agree without any "buts".  Do you mind if I put that in my sig? :D

Please do.

By the way, would a "homer" say that?

For what it's worth McFadden is probably running (or lack of) himself out of the race today.  Tebow's "record" setting day (first ever with 20/20) grabs himself some major attention.

Chase Daniels threw 4 TDs in blowout.
Reesing from Kansas throws 4 TDs in the first half of his game and the 2nd half to play.
And Pat White goes tonight.
Dixon of course is probably out of it with the unfortunate unjury this past Thursday.

Daniels, Reesing, and White have the benefit of their teams still in the running to play in the BCS Title Game (White probably a long shot).

Tebow has the benefit of being 95% of the Gators offense and being the first to 20/20.

Personally, I vote for Matt Grothe because I can. ;)

When Hawaii goes undefeated and gets to a BCS bowl game, Colt Brennan will win the Heisman. He is by far the best qb in the country, and he will prove that when he carves up Boise St. next week.

Is this serious?

Did you just pull out a Paul Hornung reference.  I think he won that over the QB from Cumberland.

can one honestly say that given the numbers and caliber of competition that Brennan is more worthy than Tebow?

Fact is, if Tebow were a Senior QB this year, he would be a no-brainer for Heisman.  But given that he is a Soph people are trying to discredit him by any means possible.  Which is why the Heisman is a farce.  It should go to the most outstanding Player in a given season - not the most outstanding upper classmen and certainly not the player who has had the best career.  Sad thing is that it often goes to one of those 2.

McFadden making noise.  Around 160 yards and two TDs midway through 3rd quarter.  It's getting more interesting.

McFadden pulls a Tebow.  His Heisman stock is rising.  If they win this game, Tebow may need a big day and the Gators to win decisively tomorrow.
