The Bucs’ game Dec. 3 at Pittsburgh has been moved to 4:15 p.m. as part of the NFL’s new flex scheduling system, the league announced today.

The game, to be televised by FOX, originally was scheduled for 1 p.m.

The NFL’s new scheduling format allows for changes during Weeks 10-15 and Week 17. For each of the flexible scheduling weeks with the exception of Week 17, the NFL will announce the start times of games on Sundays no later than 12 days prior to that weekend. To ensure a Sunday night game and doubleheader games with playoff implications in Week 17, the flexible scheduling decision for that Sunday may be made on six days notice.

Fox doesn't get the Steelers too often and no matter what there record is they have a lot of people watching. I'm sure if the Steelers beat Baltimore this Sun. they will play it up as the Pit becoming 500 and are they going on a roll like last season.

This could be great news for me. I live in England and they always show one of the 1 PM games live and one of the 4 PM games live too. With there being fewer 4 PM its means I got a bigger chance of seeing the Bucs on TV :D

they might be trying to open the door to airing a prime matchup in more markets at 1 PM - if the bucs game and one other are  moved to 4:15, they can show their flagship 1 PM game in at least 4 more NFL markets.

the steelers are getting a decent amount of national airtime, i don't think the move was to highlight the steelers any further.

edit: i take that back, Fox's slate of 1 PM games that week is just horrible. and the move prevents Fox from showing Giants-Cowboys in tampa. way to go, Fox
