Reid won't get fired, just like Gruden won't. The only people calling for them to get fired are a select few fans who aren't thinking straight

Reid is not going to get fired.  Lurie is a smart owner.

Lets say he does leave.. Philly fires andy reid.. Do we try to get him?

Would you guys like reid as a head coach here? and do you think he could get the job done?

or would it be just like having gruden here still?

Philly isn't going to fire Reid. Those rumors are as about as dumb as the rumors that Philly is going to bench McNabb next year. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Their fans and the media may be royalled pissed off, but firing Reid will be a dumber move than trading for T.O.

If Gruden was gone and Andy Reid was available then I'd say hell yes!  I don't think we should fire Gruden, but if we did, we could do a lot worse than Andy Reid.

Are you implying that Reid is a loser?  The guy has had one of the best teams year in and year out.  What more do you want?  If we HAD to replace Gruden, this would be, in my mind, the obvious choice.

Reid is a good coach.  I think he even falls in the same tree of offense that Gruden does...

Love to see Reid here if Gru wasn't our coach. Reid is a smart coach and knows how to build a team and sustain a winning record for a long period of time.

Oh yeah it wouldn't take Reid 5 plus years to produce a productive offense either.

Sure, hire Reid, a guy, that our current coach steamrolled to a Super Bowl victory and has outcoached with a 3-1 record since he took the helm, for the 21st century version of Marv Levy. I'll take my SB trophy and 4 losing seasons over 4 NFC championship appearances and a SB loss every damn day of the week. The goal is the "Ring", not who has the best winning percentage in the regular season.

Reid's success is largely built on McNabb.  The common denominator amongst those few teams that have stayed on top consistently is top level QB's.

let Reid coach a team with a average to below average QB and his record goes right down the tubes.
