That's fine...bring him back. He's a good veteran backup. He will be cheap and when we draft a QB, we will just end up cutting him anyway. If for some reason we don't draft a QB (I'd be shocked) then we have a good Veteran #3 QB.

Whoa...shiver me ****in timbers!

Well yesterday I said I'd be willing to bring in Carr to replace Gradkowski, so it should go without saying that I would be on board with bringing Griese back.

Wouldn't mind Griese back at all as a back up.  He actually played pretty well as the starter here except for the INT for TD.  I think if he wouldn't have gotten hurt in 2005 vs. the Phins, he very well could still be the starting QB in Tampa.

Yep, so long as the plan is to bring him in to back up Garcia, I'm fine.

veteran backup to go with luke and garcia i think is a good idea and he probably will come real cheap since the QB needy bears are letting him go.

And I think that Gruden and Griese had a genuine respect for each other.

Ugh...  not a fan of this, if true.  I'd rather our #3 be a developmental prospect.

He'd be #2.

Would make some sence in that Garcia is the absolute starter, McCown won the battle of the youngsters and therefore need that Vet backup guy .... although, I wouldn't mind going in another direction and draft a new youngster since McCown has been in long enough to be concidered a Vet and capable backup if needed.

Wouldn't mind it, Griese did well here (despite the pick 6s)

Other than that, how was the play Mrs. Lincoln?

JC510 I think your correct Gruden is just blinded by his love for Garcia!

I'd rather have McCown at #2 on the depth chart than Griese.
