Had to be Grads, Gruden has nothing to gain this year or next from Rattay.

Think about it, if Rattay goes out and hits 60% of his passes, 6 TD and 5 INT the rest of the way and wins the last 2 non-CHI games how big a schmuck does Gruden look like?

I agree with this but don't think this is the reason Gruden is sticking with Grads as a starter. He's already said Rattay will get more snaps in practice and if Grads lays another egg then he'll get the yank.
