If Buchanon continues his current play... He could be the foot on BK's behind this offseason... Especially if AZ improves enough....

If Buchanon shows he is willing to come up and make tackles consistently he has a very good chance of sticking around. Boldens roster spot is not safe and maybe not even Kellys if he keeps this up.

I agree. Buchanon solidified his starting job yesterday. And I was called a homer for suggesting to bring him in. This board never gives up.

I have to admit I was wrong on him as I saw him primarily as return specialist.  I hope he is given an oppurtunity at some point to return some punts.   I mean the Bucs can use the points.  :-[

PB has decent games usually sandwiched between some miserable ones.

I don't, and never will, take 1 game, or 1 quarter "attaboys" as a sign of better things.  It is a start, but I doubt PB is the foot on BKs butt.  C'mon now, PB couldn't hold BK's friggin' shoelaces, much less his jock...

I have seen PB play like that while as a Raider (My father is a big Raider fan so I see a lot of Raider games) so it is not suprsing.  Many times there are talented players that need coaching and maybe PB is one?  Hard to tell at this point but so far so good.

Tomlin has turned around that Vikings defense and made a lot of those players that underachieve play up to their potential talent. That is with his starting WLB drafted in the first round on IR and with two starting DE's on IR.

I HAVE TO SEE ALOT MORE FROM PB, I KNOW HE GOT A PICK YESTERDAY BUT I ALSO SEEN HIM FALL DOWN LIKE 4 OR 5 TIMES IN PASS COVERAGE, HE IS NOT PHYSICAL AT ALL AND HE DOES NOT LIKE TO TACKLE. I HOPE HE WORKS OUT BUT I STILL THINK WE NEED TO GET A CB IN FA

I would love to keep Phillip resign BK cut Bolden and make Phillip our nickelback...f he continues to improve his tackes

Buchannon played very well and that was a pleasant surprise with all the negative things that were said about him before he signed with the Bucs.  If he continues to play like he did this week, it would be great to see him re-signed long term.  But rather than cut Bolden, I would like to see the starters be Buchannon and Kelly with Bolden as the nickel back.  The other move I would like to see is moving Ronde to Free Safety.  He has always been a good tackler and I think his experience and coverage abilities would really shore up that spot.  I think he would make a great FS and this would also probably extend his career.

Truths:
1.  Never have an argument with an idiot.  They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
2.  For some it would be better if they remained silent and be thought a fool than to speak and erase all doubt.

Yes I agree with most here, Buchanon was a nice suprise and it was good to see that he can play at that level. Now, the tricky part, getting the consistency down but so far so good and sunday he did play well.

Buchanon wasn't a 1st Rounder for nothing, I'd like nothing more than for him to excel here on Defense & Special Teams. But we'll see who the Bucs bring Free Agent wise at the CB spot. Asante Samuel & Nate Clement would both look great wearing Pewter so if either one of them pushed Buchanon to Nickle Back I wouldn't be upset at all.

Buchanon is a great talent and hopefully Kiffin and Burns can coach him up to be more consistent. One game doesn't make a guy but he can be a very good player with the right coaching.

Edit: my bad, Burns is the DB coach
