from being 10th which could keep our streak of being in the top 10 --for the 10 th straight year..

Chicago
Cleveland
Seattle

If we hold these 3 teams down we could get close to that 1oth spot..

I know it doesn't mean much but it's something we can do to salvage something from this dreadful season..
Carolina 305 yards 10
Dallas 308 yards    11
New Orleans 316   12
Kansas City 324     13
Denver 325            14
Seattle 328            15
Tampa Bay  330      16

Wow. how in the heck have we managed that? So our defense isnt THAT bad, just poor.

Well that would be nice, but I don't see it happening. If Devin Hester scores 3 or 4 times does that count against our Defensive ranking??

I dont know for fact but just guesing off the top i would say we would have to Hold people to at lleast 50 yards below average to get back at that top 10 spot. I think its possible because as of late we have been playing pretty good...

No ..Hester wont go against the defense..  Unless they use him on offense.. Which they might I heard on ESPN...    Also Chicago and Cleveland don't have great offense's..
Seattle might be resting there starters against us..

Actually it probably helps us, as they would probably go into clock-killing mode, which limits their yards

The highlight thud games were vs ATL and vs DAL. DAL was just a butt whipping but ATL showed something new that obviously confused the heck out of us.

Outside of that the defense has put together a pretty salty effort given their resources. There's not a lot of playmaking but this defensive unit in IND might make them SB favorites.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
If you think Manziel is the best QB in this draft I can safely assume you are an idiot and will treat you as such.

To break into top 10, we need to average out roughly 225-230 opponent ypg for the next four games.  Not likely.

Actually, by my calculations, we would need to average around 170 ypg.  Here's my numbers (using estimates here, though:

Currently, 330 ypg., we need to get to 300 or so.

300 ypg. x 16 games = 4800 given up.

We're currently at 330 x 13 = 4290, meaning we have to average (4800 - 4290)/3 over the last three games =  170 ypg.

Geezus it's been a long year.  My math was based on 12 games played with four to go.  Your numbers are correct ........

I hate to say it, but this is true.  Just goes to show how bad the year has been.
