If they don't find a solid QB who can move the chains Vince Lombardi would struggle right now.

Their first rd pick RB fumbles the ball too much.
Their 1st round pick WR is not a gamebreaker and is inconsistent.
They don't have a QB on the roster right now that can consistently move the ball.

What does that have to do with the coach?

I have several issues with Gruden, but those 3 items aren't any of them.

Are you serious?

I actually thought it would happen last year. I was real mad when we completely ignored defense on the first day last year.

They drafted Ruud in round two last year. Did you mean THIS year?

We are the only team in the NFL to have not drafted defense in the 1st round since 1999.

And BTW, only one team in the entire league had fewer first round picks in that same period of time.

And they probably have a better record than we do.

Virtually identical over that period of time, from 1999 through this week. The Bucs are 68-57 during that period and they are 69-56.

I have issues with his play calling and schemes... My 8 year-old knows the plays... before we throw the interception!

Two of those did go to get Keyshawn, so you could say those were used for offense. Even the two we used to get Gruden was for the offense in a way.

If a change has to be made then Bring in Steve Mariucci as General Mgr.  , Keep Monte Kiffen as DC , and Bring in Eagles DC Jim Johnson as HC.

Out.

But in reality it was to get a Lombardi Trophy, which means it was a successful deal. But yeah, you have a point.

JF - I'm really hoping the Glazer family will do their homework this time, when and if, Gruden is terminated.  We overpaid too much to bring in Gruden IMO.  If you remember correctly, they were turned downed by their first choice, and I believe their second choice, then scrambled around to get the deal done with Gruden to avoid an embarrassing  public relations nightmare.
I believe 'whoever' we bring in should possess great leadership qualities, be self disciplined, always planning for consistency, and looking to be a permanent fixture in the Tampa Bay community.  'Who' this person is remains to be seen.  I have to believe with the many football programs available to choose from, someone has got to be primed for the candidacy.
