Minus 6th rounder...and some shifts up top

Round 1)Joe Thomas(LT Wisconson)----Ian just talked me into it

Round 2b) Steve Smith (WR USC)---may be gone before here but if he is here he will be a steal
Round 3) Brian Leonard (FB Rutgers)
Round 4) Marcus Thomas (DT Florida)--1st round talent 4th round maturity
Round 5) Dan Mozes (C WV)

We'd be lucky to get Okoye there. Don't see it happening.

Agreed, His Stock is only going to rise at the combine.

People may be aprehensive about his age. Plus we will be drafting so high in round two a first round possible slip may fall right into our laps

2 defensive players? I think not.

I wouldnt be sad to see Joe Thomas here at #1 either as I stated he is looking more and more like an option

1. Good pick
2a. Won't be there, no chance. At the worst he'll never get by IND in low R1.
2b. Good pick if he's still there.
3. Ugh, dear god no. Alstott is gone, he'll be no more. You upgrade FB an miss helping OLB, SS, FS whihc are much bigger needs.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

Round 1)Gaines Adams (DE Clemson)---Joe Thomas looking more like an option
Round 2a)AMOBI OKOYE (DT Louisville)---This kid impressed me last night
Round 2b) Steve Smith (WR USC)---may be gone before here but if he is here he will be a steal
Round 3) Brian Leonard (FB Rutgers)

I would be happy with that, but 2a, 2b and probably 3 will be long gone.

I certainly think Thomas is the right choice for round 1 just feel the Bucs should stock pile defensive players.

1. Good pick
2. a. Likely won't be there
2. b. Is he fast enough to be a complement to Clayton/Stovall and not just another possession receiver? Someone I have my eye on at this spot is Clemson's Chansi Stuckey.
3. Sorry, but it drives me crazy all the Bucs fan who want the closest thing to another Alstott to come along.
4. I like Baker but not for the Bucs. I think the Bucs need someone faster and shiftier.
5. I like the thought but is he a serious NFL prospect or another Greg Eslinger?
6. Don't know who he is.
7. Worth taking a flyer on. I'm pretty sure he's bigger than Cadillac so he could be a change of pace back and if he was a Miami recruit he has upside despite not producing much in college.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

I like your thoughts, however, I would do whatever possible to get Glenn Dorsey.  I think he could be that crazy element the Bucs used to have in Sapp.  We could probably drop 5 spots in the first round and get Dorsey there, plus another 2nd rounder.  We could get a DE with our Next pick.

Other than Gaines Adams this is a very poor draft as why take 2 WR's, 1 FB and 1 RB when our biggest needs are youth and depth on defenseI would go:

Gaines Adams or Joe Thomas
Lawrence Timmons
Brandon Meriweather

Then in the later rounds look at a Chansi Stuckey as a return man as the kid could be a steal for us.

We don't have a sixth round pick this year...

What about a Safety?

Don't like it overall. Adams is the only pick that is good. Akoye would be great but he won't be there, and why does everybody have to put in Leonard as a 3rd rounder? A FB that high in this offense is not a good idea when we need help at so many other positions. At least 3/4 of Day 1 needs to be on defense.

I think we can get a quality safety in Free Agency. I didnt know we didnt have a 6th rounder I have been looking for the draft order all over the place and havent been able to find it
