With Saban bailing for 'Bama, his replacement might choose to shake up the staff.  We should be throwing all sorts of money and maybe AHC at Hudson Houck, as we really need him to take control of the OL.  And kick Muir to the curb.

God I hope so,  Houck is a miracle worker.

Whats so miraculous about the current Miami O-Line?

Rather have the O-line guy from Atlanta. I think he used to be Denver's O-line coach as well and uses the zone blocking scheme. Both of those teams have had excellent running attacks in the past few years.

He turned LJ Shelton into a decent player, rather than just being a Yatta like talent.

Can't go wrong with Houck. He's proven himself over and over. I was advocating signing him when he was released by SD two years ago...

The "Denver guy" is Alex Gibbs. He's is just a consultant for the Falcons now. He retired from full-time coaching 2 years ago I think.

Houck was the architect of all those great Dallas OLs in the 90s and also worked miracles with the 12-4 Chargers in 2004 with 3 new starting OL (2 rookies and Oben). He's been my OL dream coach for years. I hope we can get him...

Not to mention what he did at USC (Anthony Munoz and Bruce Matthews among others) and for the Rams. **CENSORED**erson's NFL rushing record was set running behind his OL. I was a season ticket holder in Anaheim from 83-94, he's the real deal.

I'm with ya. Somebodys gotta ring the bell at Buc headquarters, they have to at least make a run at him...

I wanted him when SD didn't renew his contract.  He has a proven track record unlike Muir.

Hudson Houck would be a huge signing.

I wonder if the Bucs would be willing to keep the O-line coach's official position as OC as well; even if only in name, it could be seen as a promotion for an accomplished Oline coach and a step in their career.

Plus drafting Joe Thomas, as well as the youthful potential already here could be a high selling point.
