I want to thank everyone, while many of the long time members knew my wife has been battling cancer, I can tell you she fought everyday for the past year to live a normal life and never gave up hope that she would bounce back or atleast hang on to be able to watch our two oldest graduate high school. In the end her body just could not ward off the disease, after several rounds of surgery along with drugs, chemo and radiation treatments it was just to much for her frail body to endure. I was home from Iraq when it happened as I got the chance to spend the final days by her bedside. As far as Uncle Stan posting he asked me if it was alright, I did not post it because I dont want members to treat me any different or view what I type any different then before, we are all faced with adversity everyday. We are not judged on the way we are knocked down, but rather the manner in which we pick ourselves back up.While it will be a long process of healing, there are many members on these forums who have gone through the same things or will go through something similar. Just remember most everyone here is an extended family.
