This is GREAT... And they did it by hiring him as the Assistant Head Coach... AWESOME DEAL...

Just look at what he did in Denver... ESPECIALLY their D-Line...

Their D-Line had over 30 sacks ALONE... (our entire defense had what... 28?)

And their only "Premier" player was a rookie...

Right Defensive Tackle
G. Warren, #61
D. Veal, #97

Right Defensive End
E. Ekuban, #91
E. Dumervil, #92
K. Peterson, #90

I like the Hiring... But does Assistant/hc really speak of his job title??

Suprising a guy with that much experience would go from a DC job to a D-line job....

COOL NEVERTHELESS :)

I was warming to the McCarney choice, but have to say, this is pretty inspired.

Well done by the FO!

IF Plummer is released, Coyer might be able to let Jon know whether or not he's worth a look in FA...

This is a great signing. Glad to see such a positive move made by our FO.
Wonder who will follow him to Tampa ?

Now, our defensive coaches look alot better than the staff from last year. This is turning out to be an excellent offseason. I hope our offensive replacements are just as good as the defensive replacements. If we can land a quality OL coach, the caliber of Houck or Gibbs. Sweeet.

Hope he doesn't want to be a DC again anytime soon with that title.

He's only been a D-line coach for one year, 1994, based on his resume. He's got a world of friggin' experience on that side of the ball so I'm sure he knows how to coach those guys. He got a lot of mileage out of a not-very good crew in DEN so he's got to be an upgrade on what we got this year.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
