I believe we were top 10 on both sides that year... might have been '03 though

Points 18th
Yards 24th

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
If you think Manziel is the best QB in this draft I can safely assume you are an idiot and will treat you as such.

I'm @ work and can't get on espn but was able to find it on NFL.com. I was debating with a "Gruden fan" that said our "O" was top 10 that year.

It was top-10 in 2003 (10th overall - yards per game, 18th overall - points per game)

Totally wrong, you can see the point and yardage breakdown rather easily here:

What is interesting is that 2003 was our best year as a team in terms of yards per game (top-10 Offense and a top-5 Defense), yet we were 7-9 and 3rd in the division

Shows you what lucky breaks can do for a football team, oh and a legitmite kicker (the year of the Gramatica Downfall)

If you look at the season you see an offense that tails off badly down the stretch. In the last 11 games we scored > 20 points twice after doing it 3 times in the first 5.

I think it was because we lost 3 or 4 games due to special teams. Gramatica was terrible that year. He was 61.5% accurate. LOL.

Also had a SB winning schedule 2003.  Probably that and all of the above as well caused the 7-9 season.

Yeah and don't forget the infamous phantom "leaping" penalty called when Vandercrap did what he does best and missed their game-winning FG.  After we lost that BS "comeback" game against the Colts we were on a downward spiral that couldn't stop.
