Ernie Sims for me

Is amazing...He's the only guy on detroit that plays d
Far from that. He has been horrific in coverage and struggles at the P.O.A. Far from the next "Derrick Brooks" that he was suppose to be.

The guy had 6.5 sacks and a critical TD return for a TD VERUS the Bears, and he harrased the passer (pressure), on a DT starved team, and Gaines is a bust?

Maybe considering his draft status. Drafted a few spots later, and he is a bargain.

Why no talk about that 20 year old DT from Houston? I even forgot his name he has been such a nobody...

6.5 sacks is anything special? The guy is a subpar DE who relies soley on his speed. It's not working out for him in the pros, hopefully he turns it around. But so far he's done nothing to make me believe I was wrong about him like Aqib Talib has.
Never said he was special.

But not working out for him?

LMMFAO!

Get a grip.

I remember the 2006 draft when we got Davin Joseph and everyone was upset that we passed on Winston Justice, sometimes things do work out just look at some of the past drafts and you will see that half of 1st round picks end up as busts and 2nd rounders tend to be where teams build. Just look at the 2006 draft and compare the 2nd round talent to what the 1st round talent was.

It's not, he tries to run by every OT with his speed and he just ends up running himself out of the play.

He has had games where he has made himself look very good.

So "not working out" is a drastic bullshidt statement on your behalf.

He had what 2 good games and 14 games where any guy named Fred could have been out there. He's a major flop right now.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
If you think Manziel is the best QB in this draft I can safely assume you are an idiot and will treat you as such.

Adam Carriker

Yeah what happened to him

Da Rams... He got a case of "Da Rams" and he wasn't really heard from last year. I heard Tory Holt came down with the same illness... HAHA!

Dal, you know you loved Simeon Rice.  And you are wrong about Gaines.  Gaines is a much better DE in coverage.  How many TDs did Simeon score?

How many times did Simeon get WASHED out of a play?

Of course, Fred would have made that play...

Eric Curry was a bust.  Gaines I think this new system might benefit him especially if we can somehow get some hogmollies on the DL to free him and whomever is playing the other side up

Peter Warrick I will never understand how he didnt become a superstar, muchless a decent starter. I still cant wrap my mind aorund it. It really sucks. I still have to think the Bengals helped to ruin him. I still havent got over the disappointment of seeing him flame out

WR Chad JAckson from Florida
WR Dallas Baker from Florida
LB Buster Davis from FSU (I still have hope)
LB AJ Nicholson from FSU
WR Dwayne Jarrett from USC - I was as wrong about him as I was right baout Mike WIliams sucking
CB Antrelle Rolle from Miami - good safety, bad CB, thought he would be a great CB
S Michael Huff from Texas
CB Alan Zemeitas from Penn State
CB Tye Hill from Clemson

Its a joke Adams played decent on a terrible pass rushing DL with not one other decent pass rusher or anyone that would command a double team or even much attention at all. The guy will have 10 sacks per year. He plays very godo vs the run, so people who call him one dimensional dont have a clue. He may have limited moves as a pass rusher, but that doesnt make him a one dimensional player consideirng he plays teh run, drops into coverage, and rushes the passer.

The funny thing is DEs dont really start playing good until their 3rd year in most cases, yet most people wanted to hate on Adams from the moment he got here. He was every bit a top 5 value in the draft, he was an amazing college player, and he will be and is a good pro. His first 2 years in college he was a non factor, why doesnt he get the same leeway in the pros? Just more antsy, irrational, over emotional fans

You seriously are tossing love at a dude for one play? Dear god, I liked Rice because Rice changed games. Adams doesn't do that. He gets blocked one on one and is usually nowhere in the vicinity of the QB. It is one thing to get pressure it is another thing to be a rumor which he is. I love pass rushers, I was a huge Adams booster when we picked him, but I also know what they look like and Adams isn't it. Maybe he'll get it but dear god right now he's all kinds of suck on the field.

Ronde Bear tries to cover up for him with "he's got no help" but hey, good news Peppers has no help. Ware has no help. Good pass rushers make other guys better they don't need someone to help them.  Adams isn't stout versus the run. Right now he plays like a backup player who is sorta ok at a couple of things but not dominant at anything.
