And i'm looking at the bright side (which is hard to see because he's so tall) of Freeman.
He's big so he can see over the line.
Has a big arm as well, can run, and isn't easy to bring down.
I hope he becomes out next franchise qb.
Hope to see him starting day 1.

I hope he ends up riding the pine for three years because our QB play ends up being so outstanding.......I know, a pipe dream.

Checking his combine numbers, he looks pretty darned good. Sub 5.0 40 time, second best vertical leap, best broad jump...

While I was hoping for a D-lineman, the bottom line is McCown and Johnson are huge unknowns and everyone else we have is not the answer. Johnson also was a 5th round pick and probably won't develop into a franchise QB. McCown has talent, but he also has some big question marks.

We have been looking for a franchise QB for years and one that has the potential to be one was available and there's no guarantee we will be in that spot again. The rule is if you need a QB and one is available...you take him.

Whoa...shiver me ****in timbers!

I really thought taking Freeman would be a desparation move to get a QB and buy time for a new head coach. In reading more about him, I came accross this article. I guess any QB in the draft is a question mark. I am starting to like Freeman the more I read about him.
