Best as a zone blocker and low and behold we are implementing that this year. Looks like the new regime does their homework on picks

Really loving the pick after reading that analysis about him... Sounds like he can be one helluva player down the road.

From what I'm readnig on him he is a raw but very talented and athletic tackle. He's lean at 301 pounds and is a converted DE. Excels as a run blocker but need a lot of work in pass blocking. Sounds like a potential LT for the ZBS.

The Bucs can't be luxury drafting with all the needs. Draft another DT, a DE, CB, or WR. The Bucs have 2 young tackles who are very good. This is getting pretty annoying. I am pissed. [banghead]

Who knows why, but we have to realize that thisregimeis not going to be perfect right out of the gate. The picks have been excellent up until this one. Stop listening to Kiper and McShay and turn to the NFL network where Mayock and Gruden along with everyone else are doing a great job!

Remember: Donald Penn has only a one-year contract, people. That doesn't mean that Fulton replaces him, but it DOES mean that you'd better be also looking at adding some more ZBS O-linemen with some potential.

Stop it already. One draft will not solve all our problems. By all accounts this is a two year plan to make us a contender in 2011.

We had much bigger needs...

This is "BPA" gone wrong...

How do you figure? We will have NO tackles under contract after the end of this season. Drafting in the 5th round is for the future.

everyone is complaining but this guy is supposed to be a good zbs guy and we might be losing donald penn after this year. ol depth is always good.
and on mickens i wanted him to but i weary on why no one else wants him and why kiper and mcshay dont have him ranked on their board.
Isnt macho a small cb? I thought we wanted a big guy to start oppisite aquib.

Clady but he's not Clady, he's a lot bigger and stronger than Clady. You make the Levi Jones comparison like NFL.com did and that is a good comparison.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

I think you hit on something there. I was thinking the same thing...

Why would they go after this guy if we are already set in that position? Think it's maybe a barganing tactic towards next years negotiations w/Penn? Is that possible lol?

I don't think it has anything to do with bargaining, rather more like low-cost "insurance".
