No surprise there. none of the other players really did anything very exception early in the game to beat Manning's name recogntition. Addai and Rhodes were the closest ones but they really did nothing spectacular.

I thought that Addai and Rhodes had great games and I'm surprised that either of them didn't win because Peyton Manning only had a decent game.

Yea, that's true.  Almost any team would win the Super Bowl if they had Peyton Manning as their QB.

Rhodes had 100+ and a td. He was worthy as well.

Bob Sanders was the key player that turned the defense around and that won them the Lombardi.

Joseph Addai was the MVP hands down!

I agree.  As I said in another thread:
Quote
My personal choice for MVP was Addai, who set the tone for the run game early and was the perfect safety valve for Peyton against the Bears' cover-2 with 10 catches.

I wouldn't call him an MVP, but Charlie Johnson, a 6th round rookie OT played well at ROT after Diem was injured.  I thought for sure he would get run over by the Bears' pass rush, but he held up very well.

The Offensive Line, Addai, Rhodes, Sanders all > Manning in terms of MVP for me.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

the media as well as the entire nfl fall all over themselves for Manning, they couldn't wait to hand him the MVP and he should feel guilty for accepting it.
