Those damn Transformers have always been Racists. I remember when they use to have all those "metal power" rallies where they called us insulting names like "meat sacks" and "monkey boys" and paraded their Metallic Pride banners.

Transformers ARE racists, Gobots are Fair and Balanced.

The Gobots are Kmart transformers.

Suh or bust, Dom. You make the call.

hated the movie, found the "racist robots" extremely stupid. The camera was constantly zoomed in entirely too close throughout the whole movie and the lopsided camera angles i didn't understand. Also in all the action scenes the camera is jumping around so much the footage is hard to catch.

Just glad i didn't spend any money on it, my date paid for me.

Since were on the topic of racist robots, I'd like to point out that I recently saw the new Terminator movie and the robots in that flick were pretty racist, the aliens in Star Trek didn't like other species (seems racist to me).  Oh yeah the Hangover had an asian guy locked in the trunk of a car (WTF that's gotta be racist). I can only hope that the people upset by the racist Transformers robots  realize that all they're doing is giving the movie more hype.  I just read that Transformers 2 is the official must see summer movie of the KKK.

Well it was pg-13 so it wasn't geared at 6 to 12 year olds. It is more geared towards teens and people who grew up with Transformers more than kids. There is a reason Megan Fox is in it
Is that why Hasbro in direct relation with Dreamworks has marketed the toys to age groups as young as 3 years old.  You can easily see just who this is geared at in your local toy aisles. The movie and the toys are geared since 2007 to a younger generation to keep the product line going. The first movie was PG 13 as well but I felt was not near as profane. Just my opinion. Found it to be more profane whn it wasn't really warranted. Added no entertainment value to the movie.

Who's whining? it's called an opinion- learn the difference before you jump to conclusions.

Doesn't matter, the movie was rated PG-13, and you still took your kid...

Movies have ratings for a reason, parents who ignore the ratings have NOTHING to whine about.

Saw it tonite with my two kids and wife. Don't know why anyone would call it racist. It was too profane where it did not need to be. I was a little pissed they put that much profanity in a movie geared at 6-15 year old Transformer fans. It almost seemed as they added profanity for some reason. There were many parts where it seemed over profane. My 8 year old was covering his mouth like he said half the words. At least he has the sense to say -- Dad- there was too much cussing in that movie. I guess my teachings rub off when he follows it with -- guess they have a lack of smarts and vocabulary.

You took an 8 year old to a PG-13 movie, you have nothing to complain about...

they are right though, if your opinion is that negative towards the movie maybe you shouldn't take your child to pg-13 movies after all it is parental guidance under 13. can't complain about something you have control of.

If my son was 8, I probably would have taken him too. The fact still remains there was a lot of useless swearing in the movie. I'm glad your son still knows the difference about what should be said. Good Parenting!!! The MOVIE may be geared more towards adults that grew up with the toys but I don't remember any swearing in the cartoon. I don't even remember any swearing in the EPIC battles I would have with them, my GI Joes, and He man toys. The swearing was just not needed. Bottom line.

The difference between a successful team and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will.

Saw it yesterday and did take my 8 year old, he loved it. I thought it was pretty entertaining, not great but worth the money. PG 13 is tough, I let him see Iron Man and Hulk and the first Transformer movie, why not this one? Could have done without the language, I can see it here and there but it did feel they made a point to force it in where it wasn't needed but it's PG 13, you never know.

Megan Fox might as well go straight to porn movies, good gawd she is smok'n. I loved all the slow motion running at the end.

I think those are more for safety reasons. I haven't seen the movie yet and cussing has never bothered me, not as a little kid and not as an adult.
