Dwight Smith?

LOL.  I didn't even read the whole thread title.  That's even better.

Too early to tell.

But he is on pace for double digits sacks(!) so we shall see what happens for the rest of the regular season.

It is novel - Smith at DE.

\"A Great Coach has to have a Patient Wife, A Loyal Dog, and a Great Quarterback. . . . but not necessarily in that order\" ~ Coach Bud Grant

I'm so glad you brought this topic up.  I can't believe nobody else has explored this today or for the past 7 weeks.  ::)

Was this move really a smart one as we saw him get 2 sacks on Garcia this weekend. Was this a good idea since we got rid of Rice and allowed P.Chuk and Adams be the starters?

Honestly, at this point, I feel it was a bad decision. Thoughts?

Now that it is a D. White thread. No, IMO, the BUCS did the right thing in letting him go to the Lions. He was not worth the money to the BUCS that the Lions were willing to pay him. White had his extended chance to show what he could do last year with Sim Rice gone and he did not impress with great play to warrant the big dollar contract he was looking to get. So now he is a Lion.
Have a nice life. cya.

The BUCS are gonna surprise people this year!
